GOEDING ACT 4: A noble cause

It was under the theme “UNITY” that Act 4 of GOEDING took place on May 18, 2024 at the Case des Arts in Yaoundé. Program organized by THE ASSOCIATION LES SUVÉS DE LA RUE for street children.

"Together, let's bring a smile to these disadvantaged people and share the good news with them."  This in a few words is the reason for this association, Madame DENISE MEVA being the visionary.

Before the start of the concert, the presenter Antoine de Dieu invited Sister Aurélie Mbayong for the opening performance followed by a small exhortation.

We were treated to the performances of cantors and gospel artists including the charming Lamine Alima who presented us with the song "Vanity" (one of her compositions). personal). This was followed by Mr. Drums who in turn immersed us in Gospel Rap with his song entitled “It’s my father”. Without forgetting the singer Peka Elsy who made the audience dance with her songs "YAWEH RAPHA" and "Come down in my life Lord".

The second reason why this concert took place was that concerning the collection of funds and donations for the association which will be used to help these disadvantaged children and young people who have neither family nor shelter.  Moïse, an orphan of both father and mother and ill since 2014, burst into tears when he learned that the funds collected during this evening will be used to pay for his operation scheduled for the month of June.

This concert allowed us to discover the many musical talents that young people abound.  "By the grace of God everything went well. We did everything necessary and God allowed everything to go well. We are really happy and we can only give all the glory to God" one of the members of the organizing committee told us.
