A new building to welcome the people of God to Nyalla-Douala
The Christian Assembly of the First Born was dedicated to the Lord this Sunday, June 9 at a place called Nyalla Château in the 3rd district of the city of Douala during the closing of a one-week seminar held under the theme "the present truth".
It was a large crowd which came from all corners of the city of Douala and elsewhere to take part in these moments. The servant of God who takes the reigns of the Christian Assembly of the First Born has been exhorted to more patience, perseverance and expectation of God who is the rewarder of those who trust in him. In his remarks on the occasion, the servant of God the apostle Assala prepared the new leader for the disappointments he could experience while serving the Lord while reassuring him of the presence of the Lord with him. "I have agreed to follow Jesus Christ and I accept the mission with all that it contains. This program was inspired by the Lord and we have seen the proof through everything he has done and especially the souls saved."
The said ministry is a work of the Lord which has experienced enormous troubles linked to the persecutions of the world, financial and security difficulties among others. Fortunately, the 25 years that it has existed to date have provided the experience necessary for the growth of the Lord's church. The only message spread and promised is the death, resurrection of Jesus Christ and eternal life. "The dedication is of capital importance when a work like this is set up. We were inspired by the word of God. I came to encourage my son and tell others to follow him as an example" explains the apostle Joseph ALLOSA of the Christian Assembly of the First Born in the town of Bertoua, also a speaker at the said meeting.
A dozen servants of God were consecrated to God. To this end, they were given advice in relation to their new missions to accomplish in the house of the Lord and in the world. “The great mission we have is to continue the evangelical work started by Jesus on earth, we are also preparing the next generation so that they can follow the model and not let the work of the Lord die” Apostle Robert Kamte, speaker at the meeting.
The crusade ended with a series of baptisms. Nearly 108 people committed to walking with Christ.
