Parents learn, children are supervised

Parents learn, children are supervised

The Cameroon-based Mouvement Je Prie Pour Mes Enfants (I Pray For My Children) is bringing smiles to the faces of some twenty underprivileged children. They received school supplies from the hands of brave Christian women.

Praying for children and raising parents' awareness of how to educate their offspring are just some of the objectives of the Mouvement Je Prie Pour Mes Enfants. In collaboration with TM31 Canada, a conference was held on Saturday August 16 at Alliance Biblique, along with a presentation of school supplies to 27 underprivileged children.

The theme of the conference was "The role of the mother in child development". A very enriching theme for the many parents present at the event. The speaker, the Servant of the Eternal Marie KEMCHE, invited parents to learn about the different stages of a child's development, because some mothers, who are sometimes victims of inner wounds, don't realize that they are projecting these wounds onto their children. Many parents came away enriched and aware of their effect on the child's psychology, as in the case of Julienne NGUERENO : "This seminar was very enriching and enabled me to better understand the differences between children, and I glorify the name of the Lord for the teachings received". Since children are God's precious possessions, the I pray for my children movement, in collaboration with TM31 Canada, encourages mothers to get to know their offspring and to pray for them without ceasing. Through mass communication, one of Radio Bonne Nouvelle's listeners, Ngueni Alliance, expresses her views on the subject: "It was a pleasant moment that enabled me to have many revelations about my behavior and the emotional wounds I suffered as a child, which could have repercussions on my offspring. I needed to heal these wounds first and foremost, in order to better educate my children."

And, on the eve of the start of the 2024 - 2025 school year, the Cameroon-based Mouvement Je Prie Pour Mes Enfants and TM31 Canada brought a smile to the faces of some twenty children, schoolchildren, high-school, college and university students who received school supplies consisting of notebooks, pens, pencils, pencil cases, etc. A minimum package that gave them a good start in life. A minimum package that brought joy and happiness to these underprivileged children. Mothers were keen to say thank you to these women from the movement, who are like mothers to many of these children. For Olive Sandrine Ngono, representative of the Cameroon-based Je Prie Pour Mes Enfants movement, "the women are pleased with what the Lord has done. Despite the difficulties we've encountered, the Lord has manifested himself beyond our expectations. And the message of the servant of the Lord Marie Kemche was essential, because it's important for parents to know the different stages of a child's development, so that they grow up in the wisdom and fear of the Lord."

In the next few days, the Mouvement Je Prie Pour Mes Enfants will be in Yaoundé for the same exercise: giving a smile to these disadvantaged children and building up these Christian women.
