Acts of Worship 12, open-hearted worship

Acts of Worship 12, open-hearted worship

An edition far from the beauty of artifice, glitter, filters, smokescreens, lights and sounds... The 12th edition of Acts of Worship has made its path of greatness shine and brighten for the glory of God alone; thus making the capital city of Cameroon, the very heart of an incredible and magnificent effervescence of adoration to the Lord of hosts and completely free access.

It was far from being as realistic and achievable, but it was on purpose and the result was unexpected, certainly because the one who foresees everything is the one who took charge of better organizing the thing in his eternal throne. If the Palais des Congrès where this edition took place on August 25, 2024 had anticipated this crowd, it would certainly have become a Palais des Sports. This room, apparently large for this edition, quickly brought us back to the past that we had to flee, namely its capacity. The city of Yaoundé mobilized and the displaced people from other cities did not fail to participate in this great festival of worship and celebration of the Lord. If this edition has been able to raise its standard, it is also because of the ministry it provides in hearts.

In this complete architecture, we must recognize Acts of Worship, far from its move after a few editions to the Red Cross Hall, that it has been able to keep its values after 12 editions. Acts of Worship (AOW) therefore continues to promote Cameroonian gospel culture, even if at times we see cantors from outside the territory appearing, the goal is to make Cameroon in its gospel, a land of musical attractiveness and to lead more than one to salvation. A whole mission that the bearer of the vision David Mebale recognizes and gives thanks to God for his control in each edition. For this year, the place of expression was dedicated and placed in the hands of 3 cantors from Cameroon and 1 cantor from outside. And for more than 3 clock hours, there were times of communion in the presence and in honor of the Lord where more than 2000 people in moments of praise and adoration. If the manifestation of the Holy Spirit did not fail to establish itself, the cantors for their part did not hold back the offering they had to present.

Before taking a look at the cantors in honor of this day, we want to recognize the vocal presence of the cantors and choristers of the Acts of Worship, they knew how to introduce these great moments with mastery. We have a great one who used to say that if you see a minister of God ministering and hearts are refreshed, you must never forget that even the intercessor just like the hygiene and protocol service also has its part in the success of everything that is done there. For those who know the Acts of Worship tradition, it is only a grace to have this team who was able to amaze the people of God even before the headliners took the stage. Such flowing grace could only enhance the brilliance of this evening.

The opening took place with the rise of Samuel Shukranis. He knew how to continue in his own way the already strong pace set by his predecessors. His guitar still in hand, his melody nailed to his sweet voice propelled the people into another portion of worship. Every note and every squeak of the string was perfectly tuned to the occasion. In any case, the people loved our brother especially when he is the handsome of the beautiful, chuuuuuttt!

Just after Samuel, it was the turn of the sublime cantor Bénédiction Murielle, our house decrypted. If her whiteness on stage stood out, it was certainly the wish she had from the bottom of her heart, so that our intimacy with the father in adoration would be more and more intense. The ballads that she introduced us to, also gave us the most beautiful ball on the ground, even we media, we danced: it was strong!

Yes, speaking of force, if the one who took the stage was at the PFL, he would be our national defender of the rights of force. But, the Lord made a cantor of another stature, he may have stood out by his name, but his force of worship restored the Acts of Worship to its simple literal meaning. Besong Nevers adapted to the predominantly French-speaking public and transmitted the expression of its interior from beginning to end. The people were overwhelmed by her vocal presence and beyond saw the worshiper who shared the message of God.

The last to take the stage is perhaps the youngest, but she is also the one that everyone wants to encourage to do more in order to be a palpable example for today's youth and a strong worshiper identity for Christian youth. Grace Bethel, sparkling golden, stood out with Brio in this 12th ascent of the AOW as the perfect complement to the quartet of the day. If young people recognized it and appreciated its expressiveness, old age also got involved. It must be said that the sister just did what the elders made sit throughout the evening and the people were blessed.

A real thing with this sumptuous edition, the ages have homogenized to be one people and bring up quality worship in the heavens. From the corridors and the seats, we could see the depth and see people giving themselves to adoration, if we had been there on the day of Pentecost, we would certainly have described these moments as similar.

One of the magnificent moments in this edition is when Brother David Mebale and his leadership team brought up the men of God present in the room to take a moment of prayer for the Cameroonian nation and prayer for all the four corners of the country from the North to the East via the West and the South. Certainly, the Lord has heard the cries of his people and we await with ardent desire the fulfillment of his promises to the nation of Cameroon. Next door and a little further in the evening, people agreed to recognize the lordship of Jesus Christ, to convert and agree to walk with him to achieve salvation according to divine grace and a prayer was made for them and immediate care.

At the end of act 12, there is a feeling of joy and recognition, but also great aims, because the Lord has again made unimaginable surprises. Dr David Mebale expressed himself in these words: "Season 12 was in my opinion a great success, the ministry provided by the cantors was so powerful that the Holy Spirit was at work to heal, deliver, transform and impact, that was our objective." Simple words for great achievements certainly and details that the Lord himself was responsible for carrying out according to his good desire! And if these moments were certainly exceptional, the cantors were prepared, accepted the vision, the mission and the objectives of this event. And Grace Bethel at the microphone of Camfaith expressed her feelings as follows: "I feel very good, I am grateful, it is a special moment which is unlike any other. I believe that the Lord has led me enough. The organizers have let themselves be led by the Lord, that is what makes this meeting special in addition to the new location and the new arrangements."

It is therefore a fact, the Acts Of Worship are becoming remarkably little by little the national gospel meeting time of the year and has not yet spread its wings to reach more of the heart of God. What must be done will certainly be done with discipline so that the 13th edition in 2025 will have an angelic face and divine grace prepared.
