Mekena Gospel's album 'Grâce' delights Douala

The group of worshipers Mekena Gospel organized the listening session for its 2nd album this weekend in Douala. "Grâce", the new baby of the 06-year-old group brought together several music lovers from the Cameroonian Christian musical universe. and welcome this young group. Mekena Gospel is a young family of cantors and musicians who received and adopted God's vision, that of highlighting their talents through hymns and canticles inspired by the Lord Jesus Christ. In his musical journey in Cameroon, Mekena Gospel has only one ardent desire, to glorify God through his talent, his communion with God and the means that the Lord puts in his hands. "Mekena Gospel is a spiritual family that was born in August 2018 in Yaoundé. My heart is full of joy, we did not expect the crowd that we saw today while the city barely welcomes us. I believe that presenting our second album here is not the result of a coincidence, we will certainly come back....." notes Mike Tchuku, manager of the Mekena Gospel group.

Despite the financial and social difficulties, family, health and spiritual, encountered in the exercise of their ministry since 2018 the presence of elders in the ministry, and their availability, their support and their encouragement, made it possible to strengthen them throughout the race "this listening session is a surprise from the Lord. The presence of all these people, Cameroonian artists of whom we are fans fills us with joy. Truly, we feel encouraged and we can't wait to return to Douala.", mentions Dorcas Obam, coordinator of the group.

Of the seven productions of their second album, “Grace”, the main title, summarizes the journey of Mekena gospel from their beginning to this day. The melody of thanksgiving recognizes the goodness of God in each of their lives. It was performed by Sharon Emade "I felt privileged to be the lead voice of the group's second album. "Grace" is the story of Mekena Gospel because God does things that are beyond us. But we understand that it is the grace of God. That is why we pray that this song brings someone closer to the lord and understand that everything is only the work of his grace."

A listening session appreciated by the gospel artists, present at this meeting. For Manuela Patouma, the depth of the words, the quality of the work done and the production, without forgetting everything crowned by a powerful atmosphere of the Holy Spirit are to be saluted and encouraged. Mekena Gospel, in the continuation of its vision this year, intends to carry out charitable actions by providing help and support to widows and orphans, in addition to preaching the word of God.
