Introduction
What grace to have faithfully served the Lord all this year. Each month, the Father allowed us to participate in the work he does in the villages. May the glory come to him for everything he accomplished through us this missionary year.
Our last mission this year was to Afambasi, a village in the commune of Obala. Access to the village is not easy because of the isolation of the road.

populations live mainly from agriculture. Cocoa occupies first place among the most widely grown crops.

However, despite the high prices per kg of cocoa this year, nothing seems to show that the inhabitants benefited from it. 98% of the population lives in mud houses. According to our research, it seems that anyone who ventures to build a beautiful house will not be able to live in it himself. To avoid dying, people prefer to live in dilapidated houses.

On a spiritual level, the Catholic church appears to be the church of each family. However, many do not go there, even on Sunday. Alcoholism, sexual immorality, witchcraft, can be considered as the spiritual strongholds of this locality. These (the fortresses) would have erected solid walls in the hearts of the people, preventing them from grasping the message of the Gospel.
Having not found a place where the team could sleep, we were required to travel around two hours to go to the site. We found our beds late at night in Obala where we found a place to lay our heads.

I. Missionary action

As the populations were in the fields until 4 p.m., our missionary action was limited to the screening of films. Four films were presented: 1) Jesus of Nazareth in local language, 2) Walking with Jesus, 3) The solution, 4) and Yatin.

A. Jesus of Nazareth
Several people came to see the film. It was also the first time for some of them to watch “Jesus speak” in their language. Today's message focused on Jesus' abilities to calm storms. As he calmed the storm when he was on the boat based on the call of his disciples, he who recognizes that the boat of his life is capsizing because of sin can receive the calm of forgiveness, peace, new life and above all eternal life just by believing in the dead and resurrected Son of God.
After the preaching, an appeal was launched and many responded favorably to follow the Lord Jesus.

C. The solution
Today, we asked ourselves the question “where can the solution to our real needs really come from?” » We understood Jesus alone is not only our solution for our physiological, social, economic, and political needs, but above all he is the solution to the need for deliverance from sin. Several people have expressed a desire to receive this solution.

D. Yatin
The last film to be shown was Yatin. Here we have painted Jesus not only as the one who can protect from sorcerers and the powers of darkness, but above all from the greatest danger which is sin.

III. Prayer Subjects

➢ Let us give thanks to God for this last mission of the year
➢ Let us give thanks to God for protection against diseases despite the amount of dust we breathe every day
➢ Let us give thanks to God for the people who have demonstrated to accept Jesus in their hearts
➢ Let's pray for their strengthening
➢ Let's pray that our missionary car can be updated after receiving bumps from this road
➢ Let's pray for a better missionary year 2025.
 

Conclusion
May the Lord receive all the glory for what he did through us in Afambasi. May the Lord bless you for all the material, financial and above all spiritual support that you have given us in this mission and in all the missions of 2024. Our prayer is that God grants you a greater provision so that, having in abundance, you can continue to participate in his missions throughout the year 2025.
