CMCI Jubilee begins with 139 souls won to Christ

The International Christian Missionary Community (CMCI) CHURCH of Douala celebrated this Sunday, February 2, its customary worship of praise and thanksgiving, placed under the sign of the Jubilee. More than 3,865 faithful gathered to praise and adore the Lord, both for who He is and for His benefits in the community and for what He is in the lives of the brothers.

The meeting was held at the Ndogsimbi Christian Center. This first service of the year was particularly memorable. The participants vibrated to the rhythm of the extraordinary performances of the Ndogsimbi Singers and Semeurs choirs from Douala. A thunder of cries of joy and ovations marked the first three hours of this day with dance steps, punctuated by moments of intense thanksgiving.

139 people publicly welcomed Jesus Christ as Lord and personal savior in a prayer of repentance, in front of the assembly and a cloud of witnesses. This cult of praise and thanksgiving thus sets the tone for the fiftieth anniversary year of the CMCI, a vision originally received by the apostle Zacharias Tanee Fomum of happy memory. The year promises to be one in which the Lord has promised to accomplish his plans in the lives of each individual and in that of the nation.

A strong sequence of the meeting was the combat prayer, led by the youth leaders. This moment was intended to counter all attacks of the enemy and to bring about blessings in the lives of believers.

Pastor Antoine Kalla then gave a brief teaching from the Gospel according to Matthew, focused on the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. His message, punctuated by a vibrant call to repentance, led to these 139 new conversions.

The meeting concluded with the reading of the quarterly recommendations of the world leader, Pastor Theodore Andoseh. He invited every believer to engage in evangelization over the next three months, with an ambitious goal: to preach the Gospel to 1,000 people between February 1 and April 30, 2025. Because the preaching of the gospel raises the moral level of a nation and its inhabitants and brings down the fear of God on the nation.

To God all the glory for this worship and its impact.
