On Sunday March 2, 2025, the International Christian Missionary Community (CMCI) Douala organized its second worship service at the Christian center of Ndogsimbi, the central point of the community.
Under the coordination of Pastor Bruno Tchadje, this significant event brought together more than 3,500 people. people. The participants were captivated by the performances of the different praise groups, notably:
- The Ministers of Praise
- The Semeurs Kids, who made their entrance accompanied by trumpets
- The Douala Semeurs
- The Ndogsimbi Singers
The Pastor Martin Fatele, leader of CMCI Douala, delivered an inspiring message entitled "The Mission of Jesus", centered on repentance and spiritual transformation. His sermon was structured around several key elements:
- An exhortation to the church based on the example of Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum
- A call to repentance that led 152 people to turn to God
- Biblical teachings supported by several passages such as: (Luke 5:27-32, Luke 19:1-10, John 15:16)
The preacher insisted that true conversion is manifested by total commitment to the evangelical mission of Jesus.
Special tribute was paid to Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum (affectionately called "Brother Zach"), founder of the movement. Some remarkable points from his journey:
- Creation of the movement in 1975 with only six people
- Presence today in 150 nations on 6 continents
- A community which now has 6 million members
A memorable moment of worship was the interpretation of hymns by the pioneers of the ministry. The essential message conveyed was that every believer is called to continue the work of evangelization, despite personal challenges.
The celebration concluded around 3 p.m. under the blessing of Pastors Kom Séraphin and Samuel Nchotu, leaving the participants with a feeling of spiritual renewal.
