Awakening of conscience at the CMCI School of Evangelization
A school of evangelism that awakens consciences at the Ndogsimbi Christian Center with Pastor Jean François Edogue.
From March 21 to 23, 2025, the Centre Chrétien de Ndogsimbi hosted a new edition of the School of Evangelism under a powerful theme: "God's love is practical: it can't be told, it can be proven!"
Pastor Jean François Edogue, CMCI missionary in Mali and keynote speaker, structured his teaching around two main axes. During the first two days, he addressed believers specifically, reminding them that according to Matthew 7:16, true disciples are known by their fruits. The fundamental mission of every Christian is to win souls for Christ, and this can only be achieved by concretely manifesting divine love.
In the image of God who demonstrated his love by giving his only Son, believers must, through the power of the Holy Spirit, express this love towards non-believers, starting with their family circle. The pastor emphasized that our daily behavior is our first witness, capable of attracting or, on the contrary, driving souls away from the Gospel. Numerous concrete testimonies illustrated this reality.
Winning souls therefore involves much more than words - it's a question of attitude that translates into :
- Blessing our persecutors
- Interceding for those who mistreat us
- Serving by responding to the needs of others
- Identifying with the people we want to reach, without compromising our faith
Pastor Edogue also emphasized three essential aspects of demonstrating divine love:
- Attitude, fostering genuine repentance
- Habit, which through repetition brings about lasting transformation
- The environment, which determines our spiritual journey
A warning about sin: giving in to anger, self-pity or lies opens the door to demonic influences. On the other hand, practicing divine love reflects the image of Christ and protects both the believer and those around him.
The final day was devoted to a powerful message about God's love as manifested in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. This sermon, aimed particularly at non-believing guests, highlighted the immensity of divine love and the price paid for our redemption, leading many to respond to the Lord's call. Following the call, more than 127 people responded favorably and received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior
In conclusion, this School of Evangelization fully achieved its objective of awakening consciences. Pastor Jean François Edogue urged all believers to live in obedience in order to contribute to his goal of evangelizing 1,000 souls by April 30.
To God be all the glory!
