From vision to impact: Praise Tower ministry celebrates 10 years of faithful elevation of high praise in favor of Cameroon.

 Praise Tower ministry celebrates a decade of spiritual impact on the nation

Douala, May 19, 2025 The ministry Praise Tower marked an important milestone this Monday by celebrating its 10th anniversary during a memorable ceremony which took place at the Douala marquee, an emblematic venue which has hosted the event since its beginnings.

For this special occasion, the organizing committee, led by the visionary Dr Tayou Gabriel, deployed exceptional resources. An air-conditioned and beautifully decorated room, strategically placed screens allowing each participant to fully enjoy the experience, and refreshments served in abundance contributed to the success of this celebration. More than 250 people traveled to attend the event in person, while more than 5,000 faithful followed it live on the ministry's Facebook and YouTube platforms.

The event was an opportunity for Dr. Tayou Gabriel to remind guests of the founding vision of Praise Tower, while proclaiming a new season according to Exodus 12:2. In a moment of heartfelt sharing, he recounted the origin of the ministry:

“This divine instruction came to me in 2012 during an international seminar in the United States. God spoke to me through a servant who conveyed these words to me: 'Return to your country and lift up high praise to me, and I will fight all the battles of your country, Cameroon. »

Dr Tayou explained that at that time, Cameroon enjoyed relative peace, before the emergence of problems linked to Boko Haram and the crisis in the North West and South West regions. “God, in his sovereignty, saw the future of Cameroon and wanted to prevent these misfortunes”, he stressed.

It was only in 2014, when Boko Haram attacks began in the north of the country, that Dr Tayou remembered this divine instruction. He then began to bring together the Cameroonian Church around evenings of high praise under the theme: “Rebuilding the tabernacle of David”. These meetings were initially held on the last Friday of each month.

In 2018, as the presidential elections approached, the ministry organized seven consecutive days of worship during election week, to entrust the electoral process to God. At the end of this period of intercession, a new spiritual directive led them to establish weekly praise sessions.

“Since the first Friday of 2019, praise has faithfully risen to God every Friday from the Akwa marquee. Today we are celebrating our 10th anniversary, which also marks the 358th edition of the great evenings of high praise in favor of Cameroon”, specified Dr. Tayou.

The celebration, which began at 8 p.m., continued until 6:20 a.m. the next morning. “Ebenezer – thus far the Lord has helped us and protected the nation. This is why we celebrate it, this is why we are here”concluded the founder, giving glory to God for the impact of the ministry in the nation and the lives of individuals during this decade.

The evening was punctuated with intense moments of high praise, and fellowship, portending a promising new season for the Praise Tower ministry.
