Relaunching the activities of Synergie pour le Réveil in Cameroon: a strategic meeting under the seal of the Church's social mission

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Synergie pour le Réveil au Cameroun held its first statutory meeting of the leap year 2025/2026. Placed under the theme: "Promoting the social mission of the Church: a requirement for a fulfilled ministry", this meeting marked a turning point in the relaunch of the platform's activities after several months of hibernation.

A solemn and fraternal setting

Chaired by Apostle Olivier Atemengue, National Coordinator, this working session was held in the auditorium of the MONDO Missionary Couple ministry, located in Akwa Nord, in Douala's fifth arrondissement.
It brought together numerous members, supporters and religious leaders from all over the country, including outside Douala, to take part in this moment of revitalization and fraternal communion.

Major themes discussed

Several key points were raised during the discussions:

• Reorganization of internal activities,

• The mobilization of members around new terms of reference,

• Capacity-building in various areas of associative life,

• The Synergy's concrete contribution to the holistic expression of the Église de Réveil's social mission.

Contextual issues

The meeting also provided an opportunity to address the challenges posed by the upcoming national elections, barely 24 hours after the Head of State officially announced the date of the 2025 presidential poll.

A strategic committee for effective follow-up

A Strategic Committee has been set up to follow up on the resolutions adopted.
Its mission:

• Draw up an operational action plan,

• Propose a precise timetable,

• Establish a proactive dynamic in keeping with the spirit of the Synergy.

Immediate prospects

One of the highlights of this relaunch will be the organization of a training workshop on the first Saturday of August 2025, marking a firm commitment to put words into action.

A moment of gratitude and hope

The National Coordinator, on behalf of the Executive Board, expressed his deep gratitude to the Lord and thanked all participants for their mobilization, especially the pastors who had come from the interior of the country.
It was a moment of reunion, conviviality and frank exchanges, laying the foundations for a new start full of hope.

The Synergy lives! It's God's work.
