Spiritual Boom: The Golden Jubilee of the Apostle Z.T Fomum Brings Together 15,000 People and Records 180 Conversions AT the Yaoundé Sports Palace Day 2
Golden Jubilee of Apostle Zacharias Tanee Fomum: More than 15,000 people gathered at the Yaoundé Sports Palace on the second day
The second day of the Golden Jubilee of Apostle Zacharias Tanee Fomum was a huge success with more than 15,000 participants gathered at the Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Palace, both inside the hall and outside under tents.
The commemorative morning session was marked by the poignant testimonies of the first believers and disciples of the Apostle Zacharias Tanee Fomum, offering a strong moment of memory and sharing.
During the plenary and evangelical session, Pastor Jean-François Edogue delivered a powerful message intended for believers and non-believers alike. Centered on the theme "Putting your life in order before God and bearing fruit that endures", his teaching was based on the biblical story of Zacchaeus.
Pastor Edogue challenged the assembly: "What is your work, you believer?" He recalled that the true mission of the believer is to accomplish the work of God by bringing men to faith in Jesus Christ, an important distinction between spiritual work and simple earning a living.
Every child of God is called to bear fruit. The preacher challenged: "Where are your 10, 30 or 100 souls won to Christ?" Quoting the words of Jesus, he warned: "Every tree that does not bear fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
Pastor Edogue emphasized the vital importance of salvation and the responsibility of every believer to win souls. He recalled that bearing fruit promotes the answering of prayers and that believers must be missionaries to their families, friends and acquaintances.
Addressing non-believers, the pastor urged the assembly to seek true wealth in Jesus Christ, recalling that the material wealth of Zacchaeus did not provide him with any real satisfaction. Only Jesus gives eternal life.
This session was also marked by intense moments of prayer for healing and deliverance. Many people have reported miraculous healings there. The organizing committee has recorded several cases of deliverance from demonic influence as well as 180 conversions, people having made the commitment to give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.
