Nady Shine orchestrates a large gospel gathering in Yaoundé in honor of the Lord
The Arc Bi Valley complex vibrated to the sound of praise on December 7. At the initiative of cantor Nady Shine, artists, singers, choirs and musical groups gathered on the same stage to glorify the Lord in an extraordinary celebratory concert under the theme: "Honor and Glory to the Lord".
Absent from the Christian artistic scene for some time, but visible through her publications on social networks, singer Nady Shine made a remarkable comeback with this celebratory concert organized for the glory and the name of God. Beyond the spiritual dimension, this event also highlighted Cameroon's cultural riches, highlighting the country's songs and folklore to make them shine.
Splendor, light, glory, adoration, praise and anointing: these were the hallmarks of the evening at the Arc Bi Valley complex, offering the audience an experience rich in divine grace and enlightenment.
A gradual rise to power
From 4pm onwards, the Arc Bi Valley complex gradually filled up with an impatient crowd. The first chords rang out as the Semence Divine choir took to the stage, their percussion and brass instruments immediately getting the audience in the mood. Spotlights swept across the stage, while the musicians, dressed in specially revamped outfits, performed one song after another with infectious energy.
Gospel Life Family took over, creating a more contemplative atmosphere with vocal harmonies that sent shivers down the spine of the audience. The giant screen harmonized the already magnificent sounds with exceptional colorations that blended with the stage lights. Les Illuminés de Christ then brought a different coloring and temperature to the proceedings, with rousing Afro-gospel rhythms that set the room dancing.
The tempo changed slightly with the arrival of singer Besong Nevers. Microphone in hand, he delivered an intimate performance despite the size of the hall. He amazed the audience by reminding them that Cameroon is bilingual, expressing himself and singing in English, to everyone's delight.
Nady Shine's long-awaited appearance
At around 7:20 p.m., the long-awaited moment arrived: singer Nady Shine appeared in dazzling style, greeted by a standing ovation. Her powerful voice filled the space, accompanied by her special orchestra and a multi-part choir. The lighting effects, synchronized with the music, created an almost celestial atmosphere.
For just over 45 minutes, she alternated between covers of singers such as Morvane, meditative songs and explosive praise, taking the audience on an intense spiritual journey. Phones went up, capturing every note of this touching performance.
A succession of inspired artists
After the opening performance by vocalist Nady Shine, Sharleen Eyoum followed with a burst of energy, bringing her songs even closer to the audience and creating a closeness that is rare in a venue of this stature.
The Royal Mass Choir continued with a repertoire of local songs and rhythms, celebrating Cameroon's cultural diversity. Singer Marie Fernande Teifouet then took a special approach with gospel sounds that brought glory to the Lord and connected people more closely to God's grace.
Before vocalist Nady Shine's second part, vocalist Grâce Béthel followed up with a danceable style, in her usual ease, creating a moment of collective movement and praise.
A memorable finale
For the grand finale, vocalist Nady Shine returned to the stage. This time, she rocked the walls of the Arc Bi Valley with an explosive performance that set a seal on the already prophetically elevated evening. Nady offered a moving and memorable finale that certainly lingered in homes, but above all in hearts.
A spiritual and national mission
Speaking about the purpose of the concert, singer Nady Shine confided: "The theme 'Honor and Glory' was given to me by the Lord, who recommended that I give him an offering of praise and worship, inspired by Psalm 116:12, which says: "What shall I render to the Lord for all his benefits in my life?" We come to give God honor and glory for all His benefits in our lives, whether personal or national. We are here to give glory to the Lord for his love, for his grace, for his favor and for his blessings."
She continued, "The objective I wanted to achieve here is firstly that the Lord receives this fragrance of praise and worship that is offered to Him, that hearts are touched and redirected to the Lord, and also that our nation may receive favorable grace so that we continue to benefit from the grace, peace and blessing of the Lord in our country, Cameroon."
Objective achieved. What was proclaimed was sealed by a prayer made by the men of God gathered on stage. In exceptional communion, they raised their voices for Cameroon to reign peace and unity, but also for an explosion of Cameroonian gospel music.
