What eye has not seen...": the promise of 1 Corinthians 2:9 is fulfilled in Obala with the evangelist SAMSON ASSIENE
35th Major Evangelism Campaign with Evangelist Samson Assiene.
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard...” ” (1 Corinthians 2:9). It was under this prophetic motto that a historic campaign took place from January 30 to February 1, 2026, in the Mbélé neighborhood (Obala), at a location known as “Chez Anelka Cacao.” Organized by the International Christian Missionary Community (CMCI) of Yaoundé and led by evangelist Samson Assiené, this event transformed the spiritual landscape of the community.
An Exceptional and Satisfying Outcome
During three intense days of worship, preaching of the Gospel, and deliverance, the hand of the Lord was powerfully manifested. The results attest to the spiritual thirst of the people of Obala. The team recorded more than 528 participants over three days
320 miracles of salvation following the prayer of repentance.
49 documented cases of genuine deliverance.
33 miraculous instant healings.
234 tracts distributed to nourish the faith of new converts.
Testimonies that defy reason
The power of the Gospel was not limited to words; it manifested itself in concrete and visible actions.
The Spectacular Revival of Éric Patience Onana
Mr. Onana arrived at the campaign in critical condition. His testimony moved the congregation deeply:
“I spent three days in a coma. My wife and my sister brought me here. In less than two hours, I woke up as if nothing had happened.”
Today, he has made the radical decision to commit himself fully to the Lord and the CMCI.
The Complete Restoration of Samantha Essama
Unable to walk when she arrived—carried by her sister and suffering from painful swelling—Samantha experienced a divine visitation at the retreat:
Yesterday, I couldn’t get off the motorcycle. Tonight, I’m standing on my own two feet; I danced, and the pain is gone. This isn’t just talk—it’s what my eyes have seen and what my heart has believed!
A New Lease on Life for Obala-Mbélé
The CMCI’s 35th “What the Eye Has Not Seen” Campaign leaves behind a transformed neighborhood. Beyond the numbers, lives have been restored and families have been touched by grace. As evangelist Samson Assiené emphasized, the Gospel is not a theory, but an active power that responds to cries of distress.
To God alone be the glory!
