Violence against women: a seminar to break the silence and take action (EXPIRED)
Violence against women remains a scourge with profound consequences, particularly on mental health and depression. To raise awareness, inform and propose possible solutions, the DTA is organizing a seminar for reflection and discussion around the theme: “Violence against women: a risk factor for depression”.
This meeting will bring together several quality speakers, notably Ms. Marguerite Enoh, Ms. Esther Massa Epse Kamanda Bayie and Mr. Alfred Mondjègue, who will address in turn the issues of prevention, the Cameroonian legal framework as well as the psychological impacts and care of victims.
The meeting is set for Saturday March 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Hotel Le Papyrus (Essos). An important moment of awareness open to the public, professionals and anyone involved in the fight against gender-based violence.
