Douala: more than 500 beneficiaries during a health and healing campaign initiated by Chris Oyakhilome

A vast community health campaign, initiated by Christ Embassy Church under the leadership of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, was held this weekend on a global scale. In Cameroon, the event mobilized the faithful and volunteers from all four corners of the national territory.

In Douala, it was the esplanade of the Superior Chefferie of Deido, in the 1st arrondissement, which hosted this initiative from March 13 to 15. In the space of three days, more than 500 people benefited from free medical consultations, all accompanied by a strong time of spiritual edification.

Pastor Callin Ngoula, head of the Christ Embassy assembly in Deido Plage, provided details on the scope of this program. According to him, it is a global initiative instituted by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, known as Healing Streams Live, through which the man of God carries out his healing ministry to thousands of people across the world. Each local pastor is thus invited to take care of the people in his constituency.

Beyond free medical care, this campaign takes on a deeply spiritual dimension. Patients were exposed to the Word of God, invited to confess their faith and give their lives to the Lord. The Rhapsody of Realities devotional was given to each participant, who also followed live messages from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. A declaration of faith for healing and full health concluded the sessions, so that no illness or infirmity remains in the lives of the beneficiaries.

The campaign was warmly welcomed by the local populations. The volunteer medical staff left with full hearts, giving thanks to God for the smooth running of the event. For Dr. Paul Ebenezer Oyong, president of the organizing committee, this edition is among the most successful programs he has had to organize, given the remarkable attendance recorded. Many patients have already expressed their desire to return during the next program. More than a hundred people also decided to give their lives to the Lord during these three days.
