Jules Ecclesiastik

New Gospel Album Christian Music

The world of African Christian music is enriched with a major new work with the announcement of the release of the new album “Favorisé” by Jules Ecclesiastik. Through this opus of 12 titles, the Cameroonian artist once again confirms his talent as a composer, his strong cultural identity and his ability to transmit a powerful message of faith, hope and African authenticity.

A true musical and spiritual journey, “Favorisé” immerses the listener in a universe rich in emotions where traditional African sounds meet carefully crafted modern arrangements. Between danceable rhythms, acoustic melodies, meditative chants and deep harmonies, the album presents itself as a true auditory treat intended for lovers of music inspired and rooted in African cultures.

The songs on this album address the themes of divine grace, perseverance, hope in the face of difficulties and trust in God. Faithful to his artistic identity, Jules Ecclesiastik subtly mixes French, English and the Fang-Beti-Boulou languages in order to transmit a universal message capable of touching hearts beyond borders.

An artist rooted in African culture

Songwriter, guitarist and cantor recognized in the world of African Christian music, Jules Ecclesiastik draws his inspiration from the Fang-Beti-Boulou sound universe and from purely African sounds to express messages of faith and hope. His artistic style is distinguished by a deep connection with the musical traditions of Cameroon and an authentic approach to spirituality through music.

Having spent most of his childhood in the countryside of the Central and Southern regions of Cameroon, the artist grew up to the rhythm of traditional songs, community ceremonies and ancestral African instruments. Very early on, he discovered the richness of African percussion and learned to play different traditional instruments such as the tam-tam, the balafon and other popular instruments from the Fang-Beti-Boulou regions. This cultural immersion will profoundly mark his musical sensitivity and influence all his artistic work.

Later, driven by a growing passion for music, he trained on the acoustic guitar, an instrument which will today become one of the signatures of his musical identity. Thanks to his acoustic approach and his mastery of African rhythms, Jules Ecclesiastik developed an original style mixing traditional music, African gospel, folk and contemporary inspirations.

A rich and committed career

Over the years, Jules Ecclesiastik composed several Christian songs appreciated by an audience attached to African spiritual and cultural values. His repertoire now includes nearly fifty songs available on different musical platforms, testifying to his constant commitment to music that brings meaning, peace and hope.

But beyond the musical scene, the artist is also recognized for his social and human commitment. Through his foundation Music Salem, he contributes to the musical training of children with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Convinced that music can transform lives, he devotes a significant part of his time to passing on his knowledge and encouraging young talents.

Affectionately nicknamed “Tonton Jules” by the children he supports, Jules Ecclesiastik is described by those around him as a man kind, simple, open-minded, easy-going and deeply creative. His humanity and his proximity to the most modest reinforce the authenticity of the message he carries through his music.

“Favorisé”, an album carrying hope

With “Favorisé”, Jules Ecclesiastik signs a mature and deeply inspired work that celebrates faith, African roots and human resilience. The album already appears to be one of the most significant projects of his artistic career and an important contribution to the promotion of contemporary African Christian music.

Through each title, the artist invites the public to rediscover the essential: hope, inner peace, the memory of African traditions and trust in God despite the trials of life. Between emotion, spirituality and cultural richness, “Favorisé” promises to touch both fans of African gospel and lovers of authentic music rooted in the soul of the continent.
