THE COMING REVIVAL: Apostle Moses Wang Launches Global Movement to Prepare the Church for God's Great Awakening
LAUNCH OF “THE COMING REVIVAL” MOVEMENT: THE CALL FOR AN UNPRECEDENTED REVIVAL
It was in an atmosphere charged with the presence of God that the official launch evening of The Coming Revival movement was held. The ceremony took place in the worship hall of the God Is King Center Cameroon ministry, located in the 3rd district of Douala, led by the Apostle Moïse Wang. Before a large audience, including apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and Christians from the city of Douala, the man of God delivered a clear message: God is preparing to pour out His Spirit on all flesh, and the Church must prepare for what is to come.
An ancient promise, a continuing fulfillment
Based on Joel 2:28-29, Apostle Wang recalled that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit announced by the prophet was not limited to Pentecost in the book of Acts. “What happened in chapter 2 was only the beginning, not the end,” he insisted, citing the historic revivals of Azusa Street in 1906 and Indonesia in 1965 as evidence that God continues, throughout history, to pour out His Spirit on His people.
A burden carried since 1988
The speaker retraced his own spiritual journey: born again in 1988, then taken to several spiritual fathers in Cameroon to learn about God including Papa Samuel Obaker, Apostle André Mbassi, Papa Samuel Claude Marhop, Papa Binam in a quest to understand authentic revivals. A burden confirmed, according to him, by multiple prophecies received from men of God across the country and beyond.
A movement, not a denomination
Apostle Wang was keen to clarify the nature of The Coming Revival: “It is not a new doctrine, nor a ministry centered on me, but a call to return to the Bible as it is written. » His slogan sums up the ambition: to prepare the global Church for the next great movement of God.
His message was blunt about the current state of the Church: scandals, abominations, counterfeit spiritual gifts "more than 90% of those who call themselves prophets operate with another spirit", he denounced, calling believers to holiness and a radical return to Jesus Christ, the only legitimate center of the Church.
Concretely, from now on
The movement, already active on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram under the name The Coming Revival, and accessible on www.thecomingrevival.org, offers a weekly rhythm of commitment: a 15-minute video every Saturday, short formats during the week, and a revival prayer every Friday. The call to the audience was unequivocal: the awakening begins with a personal commitment before being collective.
The evening ended on a note of hope and urgency. Several participants committed to being actors in this revival movement: “Jesus is coming soon, all the signs are there. » To God all the glory.
