Sound of Glory”: the Young Christian Movement officially launched in Makepe

Douala, July 10, 2026 It is in a vibrant atmosphere of praise and adoration that the Young Christian Movement (MJC) made its official entry, this Friday, July 10, 2026. The worship hall of Christian Unity Ministries served as the setting for this evening, under the theme “Sound of Glory” from Ezekiel 43:2 “And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the east. His voice was like the sound of great waters, and the earth shone with its glory” this evening brought together a youth resolutely committed to the Kingdom.

A vision, a movement

At the origin of this initiative, Séphora Bille, an Ivorian-Cameroonian convinced that God led her to Cameroon to carry out this work. According to her, the MJC is not a simple praise meeting, but a real movement of young people “on the move for the Kingdom of God”, both physically and spiritually. On the program for the coming months: biblical conferences, press briefings, moments of communion, evangelization outings and, ultimately, training sessions which could lead to job opportunities for the young people involved. “It's a great vision that the Lord has given us and we want to see it through to the end,” she confides.

An evening marked by grace despite the unexpected

The launch was not without technical difficulties: a microphone problem disrupted the start of the choir's performance. But the team held on. “We didn't let that distract us,” says the manager, hailing an ultimately “magnificent” evening, rich in spontaneous testimonies from the public.

The MC, Lydie Namouni, orchestrated a program structured around three highlights of praise and adoration: the prelude opened by the president of the movement, then the performances of ministers Michelle Kana and Bonheur Sian, before the closing provided by Séphora Bille herself. “It was truly blessing. It happened solely around praise and adoration,” she summarizes.

A youth who inspires generations

Many testimonies collected from the public converge: the emotion was palpable. One participant remembers “the presence of God” and the atmosphere carried by “young people devoted to the Lord”. Mom Pauline Sian, visibly moved, sees it as a sign of hope for the nation: “I saw the youth manifest the grace of God, the power of God, the anointing of God in their generation. » Same enthusiasm on the part of Mr. Itembe Zaka, struck by “dynamic, enthusiastic young people”, proof according to him that “the Lord is soaking into the youth”.

Véronique, another participant, did not hide her enthusiasm, going so far as to recommend the event without reservation: “It awakened the youth in me. » A feeling shared by several voices who came to close the evening by blessing God for “this atmosphere” where, they say, “we do not return as we arrived”.

Between an electric atmosphere and mobilized youth, the MJC laid, this July 10 in Makepe, the first stone of an adventure that aims to be lasting. “The rest is a surprise,” Séphora Bille promised the many young people already won over.
