Who is Jules Ecclésiastik?

Born and raised in the countryside of South-Central Cameroon, in the heart of an environment where tradition, culture and spirituality occupy an essential place, Jules Ecclésiastik is an artist whose journey is marked by a passion for singing, Christian faith and the desire to pass on a heritage culture for future generations.

Jules, is at the same time songwriter, musician, cantor, writer and trainer. Since his childhood, music has accompanied his journey and gradually becomes a means of expression, sharing and proclamation of messages of hope. His voice carries a message of faith, perseverance and spiritual restoration, through compositions inspired by human realities and the relationship with God.

A committed artist, Jules Ecclesiastik has produced several musical works available on the main digital music distribution platforms, notably streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and other spaces dedicated to independent artists. His emblematic title “My God Will Rise”, which has become one of his most popular songs, testifies to his musical universe: music that brings hope, rooted in the Christian faith and open to African sounds.

Singing in fang-beti-boulou, in French and in English, Jules Ecclesiastik highlights the linguistic and cultural wealth of Cameroon by combining traditional African rhythms with modern expressions of gospel music. His work seeks to create a bridge between ancestral cultural heritage and contemporary Christian faith.

Beyond his personal career, he is also a builder and a guide. He contributed to the creation of several choirs, praise groups and musical teams, while training numerous singers and musicians. For him, music is not only an art, but a ministry, a school of life and a tool for transforming people.

Driven by deep human sensitivity, Jules Ecclesiastik also works with children with disabilities, within an organization dedicated to their support, using musical and artistic awakening as a means of expression, personal development and inclusion.

In 2025, he founded the group SALEM, an artistic and cultural project which aims to promote traditional Christian music, preserve African musical memory and contribute to the restoration of gospel heritage. Through this initiative, he wishes to transmit to new generations an authentic musical identity, rooted in African spiritual and cultural values.

Also passionate about writing and the transmission of knowledge, Jules Ecclésiastik is the author of several works in which he shares his experiences, his teachings and his vision of Christian music.

His journey is that of a man who chose to put his talents at the service of God, culture and humanity. Through his songs, his writings and his commitment to others, Jules Ecclesiastik pursues a mission: to make art an instrument of faith, education, inner healing and hope for present and future generations.
