To consecrate ourselves is to set ourselves apart for the Lord to place our lives at the Lord's feet so that He can dispose of us as He wishes. the example of the apostle Paul shows us that he abandoned everything that was for him as gain which he now regards as dirt because of the excellence of Christ. We must let go of anything that hinders the Lord's reign in our lives so that He may increase and we may decrease.
