The Lord Jesus has given us the responsibility to educate our children in the fear of God. When parents who had started their Christian life well, choose to turn away from the Lord for material possessions, they thus turn the hearts of their children away from God. We must ensure that we maintain a good relationship with God and dedicate our children to Him.
