Sion is a cantor, gospel artist, author, composer from Cameroon in an environment where several cultures coexist, including English-speaking and French-speaking cultures.
Born in Yaoundé Sion grew up listening to music in a style that she particularly likes: slows, soul music, R&B, Reggae (music with a very great sensitivity) and when she received Jesus Christ in her life as lord and savior in 2001 her love her commitment her loyalty to God pushes God to reveal himself to her and like two lovers God gave her the name “SION” Which she naturally continued 12 years later as an artist’s name. Sion sang in choirs where she was a leader and took the time to train several young people in praise and worship and it was only in 2012 that she entered the studio to record her very first album entitled “il ya une lesson”an album of four tracks which was released the same year in Douala.
Sion is a lover of the stage and she has many fans and this is easily understood when we know that she won the “MELODIES SACREES AWARD REVELATIONS MUSICALE 2013”. through the main cities of Cameroon.
MUSICAL ENCOUNTERS
Sion has the grace to rub shoulders with big names in African Gospel music such as LEA from David, Anomira, Boniface from the Ivory Coast and Prince of JESUS from Cameroon.
BEHIND THE STAGE OR IN FRONT OF THE STAGE
Sion understood very early that music is an art that requires a lot of work, patience and creativity. She accompanies many renowned artists and musicians on stage including Ella Sara, Altesse Hosanna, Falone Djimska, Fleuri Kalfus Bloem and many others. Sion’s objective is to improve by working alongside elders. The stage is starting to no longer hold many secrets for her. She even begins performances with a group she is forming and this is how she presents herself at the Palais des Sports in Yaoundé during an event where she gave a very good performance. His music is totally inspired by the Holy Spirit and the theme of the album is strongly imbued with his daily experience.

She had to participate in one of the biggest projects of the year 2013 for the Forum of Gospel Artists and Musicians of Cameroon (FAMUG) during the recording of the single “Let your reign come” through her beautiful voice.
