Odile NGASKA, wife BIATCHA, with her warm, powerful voice, is a Cameroonian singer who began her musical career singing in the choirs: " Bright Shinning Rock " from Cameroon; " Calvary Chapel Choir " in the USA; " Royal Voice " from Cameroon. She then completed her musical training at Lee University School of Music, Cleveland, TN, USA, Church Music Option, Basic Instrument: Voice.
She was ordained Minister of Sacred Chant (Psalmist) in 1998 and is a consultant to several choirs in Cameroon.
B1: Her track record:
- First album in 1996, entitled " Gospel & Hymns ", containing 08 tracks, including the yearly hit "Dieu Tout Puissant" (God Almighty), to the point of achieving an unprecedented listening rate for Christian music on the country's radio stations
- Second album in 1998, entitled " Psaumes de Feu ", also containing 08 tracks, including 04 of the artist's own compositions, 02 popular compilations and 02 hymns. With this new album, Odile NGASKA confirms her option: to make Christian music accessible to everyone.
- Third album in 2000 entitled " Mélodies du Ciel " containing 10 titles including 07 compositions, 01 compilation, 01 hymn and 01 interpretation. With this album, Christian music rises to the top and becomes part of everyday life in our country.
- Fourth album in 2003 entitled " Teli Ma Zen " containing 08 tracks, with great musical sonorities. This is the album of consecration for sure! A powerful, warm, strong voice, relatively low for a woman: Odile NGASKA is a committed Christian singer. Her passion in this other dimension is to affect those of her generation through Christian song, with a view to integrating it into everyday life.
- Her fifth album, released in 2007, is entitled " Gratitude Adonaï " and contains 10 tracks. It was made in the USA, Studio INT 6889 Peachtree Ind Bld, Norcross-Gwinnett, 30092 Atlanta, GA, Tel: (404) 441 2733. It's an album of thanksgiving following my multiple testimonies of divine intervention during my stay in the United States during this period.
- Sixth album in 2010 entitled " Gracia " containing 09 tracks. An album with several dimensions: a very pronounced cultural aspect, in which we find rhythms specific to certain regions of Cameroon; a spiritual aspect where we insist on the grace of God who accomplishes all things in us and through us;

SOME PRESS ARTICLES.

In her homeland, she is considered a great star of Christian song and religious cadence"
- BRISA N°003 April 2004, P.4: "Woman, Pastor and Singer, Pastor and swhowbiz star, she preaches modesty and poverty of spirit through the actions she leads around her."
- AHIVIS Info N°001 2004, P.22: "It is said that humor corrects morals, and music softens them. The Christian people are blessed with enormous artistic talent, including Odile NGASKA. A Christian singer of proven talent and confirmed faith, Odile knows how to lead God's flock through words and sounds to the gentle meadows of earthly life, far from worldliness."
- LE VENT DE L'EST N°010 April 2004, P.17: "Cameroonian star of Christian song and psalmist, Odile NGASKA, wife, mother and teacher, fulfils her role as a woman on a daily basis, while devoting herself to her Creator, the Eternal God. On the occasion of International Women's Day, we met her to try and unravel this mystery of faith".
- AMINA N° 413, 2004, P.60: "A superstar of Christian music, she has a splendid voice that sings the Gospel with a fresh enthusiasm. She is a consecrated star, and her music is an undeniable success. A committed singer, she does a superb job of raising the profile of Christian singing. Odile is very passionate and very partisan. Since she emerged from anonymity in 1996, her audience has grown from strength to strength. Ordained Psalmist and Minister of Sacred Chant, she has progressed by leaps and bounds."
- AMINA N°415, 2004, P.80: "TELI MA ZEN, her 4th album released in 2003, established her as a star of religious music in Cameroon. It's a status that doesn't displease this singer with her warm, somewhat hoarse voice, who has a penchant for luxury toiletries and other diva accessories. Odile NGASKA, a French teacher in her fresh and radiant fifties, is also a committed Christian. She welcomes us to her home in the Mvog-Ada district of Yaoundé, and talks about her faith, her music and her relationship with politics."
- CAMEROON TRIBUNE N° 8048, March 2004, P.27 : "Making Christian music popular, by introducing it into everyone's daily life: this is the credo that drives Odile NGASKA, a religiously inspired artist. It's called: passing on the Gospel through sacred song"
- CAMEROON TRIBUNE N°8054 March 2004, P.2: "She's been making her mark on music lovers since her first album, released in 1996. "GOSPEL & Hymns" won over the public with its enveloping melodies, those of a committed and popular choral song. Radio stations played them all day long. As a result, Odile NGASKA had achieved her goal: to make Christian music popular, by introducing it into everyone's daily lives
- LA PRESSE N° 06 April 2004, P.11: "The artist Odile NGASKA stands out for her ability to build trust, to share her passion for music, to devote herself to a being that is abstract to many, but whose writings, the Bible, remain the reference, for it is from the Bible that the genesis of the universe dates."
- L'ŒIL DE LA NUIT N° 034 November 2004, P.9 : " ....this woman with a deep voice that reminds us of James Brown, Tina Turner and others, even if these latter evolved in a register that requires a good mastery of the musical art and an ability to sing the Psalms, Odile NGASKA has never ceased to display her talents to the point where everywhere in the country and even outside our borders, her name means praise. "
- LE PATRIOTE: "Dripping with zeal for Jesus and oozing with revelations, Odile NGASKA is a well-known cantor. She preaches and sings in several churches in Yaoundé, including the Living World Fellowship, and outside the country.

One of Cameroon's leading figures in "ambient religious music", a coquettish woman and wife of...... - Magazine LE TAMBOURIN, Pan-African Development Tribune N°002, April-May 2010, P.16: "...in June 2007, I was elected by the majority of Artists to be at the helm of the new company called SOCAM, which stands for "Société Civile Camerounaise de l'Art Musical", and I came with a program and many dreams for the Artists..... But with my good faith, the Artists voted me not because I'm an expert in copyright, but on the moral side. They saw that I was a trustworthy person.....They know that I don't take their money and do anything with it. Already, I'm not needy, I'm not hungry, I'm not poor and not rich, I'm not a millionaire but I lead a decent life. My interest is the Artist"
